Escalation/Sustaining Engineer

We are looking for a talented individual to take point in our customer support efforts. The preferred candidate will have a background in customer service, development engineering and quality assurance. The individual must be able to play a role that encompasses interfacing with, and executing as a member of, each of these teams. This is 3rd level support role and will be dealing with issues that reach the engineering level.

Exposure to multiple operating systems will be a plus. Sound knowledge of Windows and Linux/Unix environments, particularly in regards to networking, is required. This is a fast paced, dynamic organization, and you must be prepared to thrive in it.

The candidate will be required to keep up with advances in OS and networking features, particularly as they are implemented and released in our products. This role will have a high level of customer interaction, and will also involve daily interaction with members of the product management and engineering teams.

The selected candidate will be taking responsibility for the bi-directional information flow between product development and our customers, and insuring timely notification and resolution of issues.

Responsibilities:

	Triage problem reports to insure they are routed properly
	Track issues to resolution, and insure proper communication and closure
	Interface with development engineering and QA to document known issues and resolutions
	Where possible debug and resolve (or suggest resolution to) issues

Qualifications:

	Prior customer service and/or development and/or QA experience
	Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
	Proven problem-solver ?must be able to deal with systems (SW/HW)
	BS/MS with at least 5 years of relevant experience

OEM Program Manager

Responsibilities:

	Maintain and drive project schedule, both internally and externally
	Interface with the OEM partner on a daily basis
	Anticipate risks and coordinate action to mitigate them
	Understand roles, requirements, and attitudes of all stakeholders
	Research and provide appropriate answers to technical and business questions from the partner
	Set and manage expectations with the partner at technical and marketing levels
	Work with partner to define Statement of Work, Acceptance Criteria and other requirements required to fully define deliverables, and track to delivery

Senior Hardware Design Engineer (Board design)

NetXen Inc., a leading provider of high-performance networking and protocol processing solutions, is looking for an experienced Senior Hardware Design Engineer.

The selected candidate will have responsibility for the specification, design implementation, testing, release to manufacturing, and customer support of complex high-speed networking pc boards for server applications. This includes writing hardware and system specifications, schematic capture (Orcad), FPGA design, system testing, etc. This person needs to work closely with the ASIC design team, firmware and software engineers, product marketing, mechanical and thermal engineers, CAD engineers, lab technicians, production team, offshore development team and contract manufacturer. Must be self-motivated and able to work in a small team environment.

Requirements:

	BSEE or equivalent (Advanced degree desirable)

Senior Quality Engineer

Job Description:
The Sr. QE will be responsible for driving the overall PCBA quality program with the relevant contract manufacturer. General responsibilities include development and implementation of necessary quality management practices, to ensure the highest level of manufacturing quality, from prototype through the full production cycle. The right candidate must possess strong working knowledge of the PCBA/Manufacturing process and related equipment.

The position requires solid strategic planning focus, excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills, and a strong emphasis on process and issue prevention.

Duties:

	Develop comprehensive QA Plan to cover all aspects of Quality Control, including, but not limited to the following:
	-	Component Quality Assurance
	-	Material Handling and Inspection
	-	PCBA Manufacturing & Test: SMT, 2DX, Through-Hole Load, Flying Probe, ICT, 5DX, FCT, Pack-out, etc.
	-	Corrective & Preventive Action Plans
	Drive manufacturing-readiness activities to ensure long-term product quality and reliability, prior to production launch.
	-	Produce and evaluate DFM and DFT reports for all new products prior to production launch.
	Create and document product and manufacturing specifications/procedures to ensure training and execution.
	Manage ECO process and EC notification activities.
	Define Data Collection & Reporting Requirements, both internal and external.
	Management Support: Regular QA Presentations, including production yields, RMA, FA, and general trend analysis, etc.
	Customer Support: Full review, and understanding of customer quality expectations. Develop gap analysis, and plans to address any/all shortfalls.
	Establish and Drive Quality Goals Quarterly
	Identify and contain any/all quality issues within the supply chain, manufacturing/test, or customer site(s).
	Perform failure analysis on respective (critical) QA issues.
	Extract relevant Quality reports, and evaluate for possible issues. Incorporate data/findings into monthly/quarterly reports.
	Interact with (international) contract manufacturing partners daily/weekly to maintain solid relationships, and help drive issue resolution, improvements, etc.
	Establish Supplier QA/Audit Plans. Perform audits periodically to ensure possible exposure is mitigated (proactively).
	Support RoHS (lead free) implementation initiatives.

Qualifications:

	BS (or MS) degree in Electrical Engineering.
	Quality or Process Engineering background highly desirable.

Skills:

	Excellent troubleshooting skills, with focus on root cause analysis, CAR/PAR, etc.
	Strong working knowledge of PCBA test/inspection, including 2dX, Flying Probe, ICT, 5dX, and FCT.
	Strong written and verbal communication is a must. Presentation skills are required.
	Previous experience working with off-shore manufacturing partners/suppliers is preferred.
	Strong understanding of IPC-610 (Rev D) Standards.
	ISO 9000 and 14000
	Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus!
